Indianapolis. Welcome to Circle City, a place that has made a name for itself with its exciting racing culture and quality craft beer scene. It’s a city that has bountiful parks to appreciate that take over 10,000 acres of green space. The suburb of Eagledale is no different in it’s lovability factor, racing culture, and beautiful surroundings.

Just northwest of the Indianapolis city center, Eagledale is an attractive neighborhood for any visitor to find hidden away in the suburbs.

Located where the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400 take place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Eagledale is known for its racing mania and walkability to some of the most popular annual events in the nation.

If you prefer more laid-back and quieter activities, Eagledale doesn’t fail in that aspect either, with the Indiana Medical History Museum and the Indianapolis Zoo close by, as well as the various 9 parks and 9 bodies of waters in the area. There are great shopping choices too, with the 4 shopping centers and the unique Dixieland Flea Market for all of those second-hand finds and shopping sprees you may be partial to.

When you work up an appetite, you’ll find various recommended restaurants around Eagledale such as Nick’s Chili Parlor (Fast Food), The Iron Skillet (Modern American), the King Ribs Bar-B-Q (Barbeque), and the Szechwan Garden (Chinese).

Clearly, there is always a lot going on in the neighborhood, but one of the best aspects of the suburb is just how easy it is to get to the city and other suburbs. Here are the events to look for just outside the Eagledale area this September.
