Indianapolis is a place to enjoy in the fall. You can feel the coming together of the community in the rustling of the falling leaves and cheers for the local sports teams. Circle City is a place that has an exciting racing culture and an expanding craft beer scene. A nearby suburb by the name of Eagledale encompasses all of these aspects and more!
Eagledale is a neighborhood right next to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400 take place every year. In a city that’s known for its racing mania, it’s a great place to be to not miss out on the action.
Eagledale has so much more to it than just its racing culture; however. It’s a place that has expansive parks and beautiful surroundings. There are various attractions to peak anyone’s interest, from the interesting Indiana Medical History Museum, to the Indianapolis Zoo, the Dixieland Flea Market, and the abundance of parks and bodies of water in the area, you’ll get lost trying to figure out what to do!
If you’re looking for a great place to eat in the suburb some of the most highly recommended places are Workingman’s Friend (Traditional American/Dive Bar), Fei Da (Chinese), Shish Falafel (Mediterranean), Bud’s Tavern (Traditional American/Dive Bar), and Marble’s Southern Cookery (Soul Food).
This fall it’s time to get out and interact with the community in a fun and engaging way. These are the events from Eagledale to the city center that are worth knowing about this October.
