Looking for a good read to curl up with this fall? Head over to the Eagle Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library! The Eagle Branch has so many free activities for adults and kids alike.
The library offers 23 public computers, early literacy stations, self-service checkout, free wireless internet access, color printing services, mobile printing services, color copy machines, document scanner, outing fax, meeting rooms, walk-up book return and accepts credit cards for fines, fees and services.
Neighborhood residents can get a library card for free with an Indiana State issued ID. If your ID address does not match your current address, additionally bring in a piece of mail, your Pangea Cedars lease, checkbook with the correct address, school schedule with addressee information, or a report card.

The Eagle Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library system is open again! They are taking necessary precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so make sure to read their new policies and procedures before showing up. Guests are asked to keep their visits to one hour or less, are required to wear face masks, and are expected to keep social distancing measures of 6-feet from other patrons. Printing, faxing, and copying are available, and computers are available for one-hour time limits. Click the link above to familiarize yourself with anything else you might need to know such as temporary hours of operation.
They’re also still offering curbside pickup so you can place an order from the online catalog and a staff member will bring your items to your car. For the health and safety of you, your fellow library-goers, and the librarians and staff members, please consider curbside pickup unless it’s absolutely necessary.
In-person events are on hold for the time being, but the IPL quickly transitioned to online programming and is offering regular various book club groups, virtual learning opportunities, webinars, virtual story times, and other online events in both English and Spanish.
