Bring in your filled out application and identifying information to the Eagle Branch circulation desk to get started! If your telephone carrier has your correct address, you can fill out a library card application online.

Special COVID-19 Updates

The Eagle Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library system is open again! They are taking necessary precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so make sure to read their new policies and procedures before showing up. Guests are asked to keep their visits to one hour or less, are required to wear face masks, and are expected to keep social distancing measures of 6-feet from other patrons. Printing, faxing, and copying are available, and computers are available for one-hour time limits. Click the link above to familiarize yourself with anything else you might need to know such as temporary hours of operation.

They’re also still offering curbside pickup so you can place an order from the online catalog and a staff member will bring your items to your car. For the health and safety of you, your fellow library-goers, and the librarians and staff members, please consider curbside pickup unless it’s absolutely necessary.

In-person events are on hold for the time being, but the IPL quickly transitioned to online programming and is offering regular various book club groups, virtual learning opportunities, webinars, virtual story times, and other online events in both English and Spanish. Check out their full calendar of events today so you don’t miss out!
